Pair Of Players Re-Assigned

The Saskatoon Blades have re-assigned a pair of players as the WHL’s exhibition season continues.

Fifteen year old forward Landyn Hickmott has been returned to midget hockey in Mission, B.C.  He played in both of Saskatoon’s exhibition games against Prince Albert, scoring a goal in the team’s 6-2 win over the Raiders on Saturday.  Hickmott was the Blades first choice in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft, where he was selected in the third round, 66th overall.

Also being re-assigned is defenceman Brett Lernout.  Lernout also dressed in the Blades two exhibition games, registering no points and an even plus/minus rating.  The big blueliner from Winnipeg was listed by the team last season.

31 players remain on the Saskatoon Blades roster including 4 goalies, 7 defenceman and 20 forwards.
