Blades Go to Sixth in Latest CHL Rankings

The Saskatoon Blades slipped one spot down to the #6 ranking in the Week 19 edition of the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings which were released on Wednesday morning.
The Blades played twice this past week with a pair of losses. On Friday, the team lost 5-4 to the Kootenay Ice at home. One night later, the Brandon Wheat Kings beat the Blades 5-2.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts. The Blades have appeared on the list fifteen times this season.

The Blades have a busy week ahead with three games on the slate. The week starts up tonight as the Moose Jaw Warriors are in town. The Bridge City Bunch hosts the Swift Current Broncos on Friday at Credit Union Centre. On Saturday, the Blades and Broncos play the second half of a home-and-home series in Speedy Creek.

Tickets for both home games this week are available online at Ticketmaster.ca, by calling 938-7800, or by stopping by any Ticketmaster location.
