Where did it originate
The Assante Wealth Management Teacher Recognition Program is a new initiative introduced by the Saskatoon Blades for the 2007-2008 regular season. The program is aimed at
Saskatoon and surrounding area elementary schools that are interested in participating in the program. All interested students will be encouraged to contact the game day customer service kiosk or Saskatoon Blades website for entry information.
Purpose of the Program
The program is an initiative designed to provide students and staff within the elementary school
systems of Saskatoon and surrounding area, the opportunity to win Saskatoon Blades home game tickets for their teachers and/or support staff.
Program rewards
In order to emphasize the important relationship between sports and academics, this program will provide Saskatoon Blades home game tickets (2007-2008 regular season) to teachers and/or support staff from the Saskatoon and surrounding area public elementary school systems.
Assante Wealth Management “Teacher Recognition”
Winners will be randomly chosen, from entries that have been received by the Saskatoon Blades from elementary students in Saskatoon and surrounding area. Entry forms will be provided from the game day customer service kiosk and the Saskatoon Blades website by clicking here. Entry forms will be returned by participating students to the Saskatoon Blades customer service kiosk – located in Credit Union Centre during Saskatoon Blade home games. Each winner will be given four flex pack tickets that allow them and a group of guests free access to a Saskatoon Blades home game. Winners will be drawn monthly, with a total of 7 possible winners for the 2007-2008 season.
The premise behind this program is to give each elementary school student, in Saskatoon and surrounding area, an equal opportunity to show appreciation to their teacher and/or support staff.
Summation
The Saskatoon Blades much like their corporate sponsors have a vested interest in the development and recognition of our youth. This program was developed in a way that lets both the Saskatoon Blades and their corporate sponsor have a positive influence on the youth of Saskatoon, both in sport and academics.
