Now in its fifth year, the Saskatoon Blades & RCMP “Project Face-off” is a partnership aimed at educating kids about the effects and consequences of substance abuse. Developed to show solidarity with the sport of hockey, education and police, Project Face-off signifies the RCMP and the Saskatoon Blades “facing off” against drugs. During the 2006-2007 season the Saskatoon Blades joined members of the RCMP who volunteered to educate in presentations to grades seven and eight students in schools in and around the Saskatoon area.
