Where did it originate
The Health Care & Family Support Program is a new initiative introduced by the Saskatoon Blades for the 2007-2008 regular season. The program is aimed at health care workers and/or families or individuals with medical concerns that are interested in participating in the program. All interested individuals will be encouraged to contact the Saskatoon Blades Community Relations department.
Purpose of the Program
The program is an initiative designed to provide health care workers and/or families or individuals with medical concerns access to free flex pack tickets to a Saskatoon Blades home game.
Program rewards
In order to emphasize their community involvement, this Saskatoon Blades program will provide Saskatoon Blades home game tickets (2007-2008 regular season) to health care workers and/or families or individuals with medical concerns.
“Health Care & Family Support”
Winners will be randomly chosen by the Saskatoon Blades administrative staff. Health care facilities such hospitals, medical clinics, and medical laboratories will all be eligible to win. Ticket information packages will also be distributed to each winner and/or their organization. Each winner will be given four flex pack tickets that allow them and three guests free access to a Saskatoon Blades home game. Winners will be chosen monthly.
The premise behind this program is to give health care workers and/or families or individuals with medical concerns an opportunity to attend a Saskatoon Blades home game while giving the Saskatoon Blades an opportunity to show their appreciation and support.
Summation
The Saskatoon Blades, much like their corporate sponsors, have a vested interest in the development and recognition of our health care worker. This program was developed in a way that lets both the Saskatoon Blades and their corporate sponsor have a positive influence on the City of Saskatoon, both in sport and community.
